Welcome to the Family!
Our tumbling program is designed to
accommodate those who need to learn how to floor tumble for Cheerleading or
Competitive Dance. Students utilize equipment such as the tumble track
and trampoline to learn basic jumps and tumbling skills. We can
accommodate everything from students learning a cartwheel up to students
learning back handsprings and saltos (flips). Classes are divided into
Sparks, Chargers, Lightning, and Nitro Classes. See below for our class
offerings and descriptions.

SPARKS - 60 min
The Sparks class is the introductory course
in our tumbling program. Students with little or no tumbling
experience will find this class challenging and enjoyable while being
introduced to forward, backward and sideways flipping skills like rolls,
handstands, bridge's and cartwheels. Students will also receive their
first instruction towards the infamous back handspring while being
encouraged to develop a strong foundation in personal health and fitness to
combat the rising obesity epidemic.
CHARGERS - 60 min
In our Chargers class students will utilize
a variety of drills to promote proficiency approaching mastery of skills
learned in the Sparks class. As students' abilities progress they will
be challenged to perform old skills in new and exciting ways. They
will continue to refine their rolls and handstands while being introduced to
1 arm skills (cartwheels and round offs) and will even begin work on no-arm
skills (back, front and side salto's). But that is not all. In
addition to a foundation in basic tumbling students will also participate in
a number of exercises designed to increase muscular strength and endurance.
Our friendly and enthusiastic staff are trained to encourage quality
technique over vast quantity of repetitions to ensure that the students
continue to enjoy the activities. Finally students will have the
opportunity to work on many of our trampolines with drills designed to
increase perception and spatial awareness while having a lot of FUN!
LIGHTNING - 60 min
Back Handsprings! Back Handsprings! Back
Handsprings! With sports like cheerleading and dancing growing in
popularity the demand for a back handspring has never been higher.
While continuing to train front and side tumbling; the Lightning class'
primary objective is to achieve and refine a standing back handspring and a
round off back handspring. Our most popular class is chalk full of
exciting and innovative drills designed to produce safe and elegant tumbling
while simultaneously encouraging superior balance, refining motor control,
and increasing spatial reasoning.
NITRO - 60 min
The Nitro class is our most advanced
tumbling class and is available only to students who can already perform a
round off back handspring with little or no spot. In the most vigorous
of all of our tumbling class' students will train skill sequences like round
off back handspring back layouts, aerials, and front handspring punch
fronts. Students will also be introduced to front and back twisting
and multi-directional tumbling. Whether you have been tumbling your
whole life or you just got your round off back handspring, this class,
taught by our most experienced staff, promises to teach you something new to
add to your tumbling at try outs.
